Financial Assistance - How do we help?

Goodbill makes it easier for you to apply for Financial Assistance, and understand the resulting discount.

The first thing to do, once you've created your bill, is screen against the hospital's policy. This is the task entitled, "Check if you qualify for a discount from the hospital".

Please note, screening for the policy does not send any information to the hospital.

Goodbill will then check the latest policy numbers for that facility. If you qualify, we'll then open a new task to complete the application:

This is a digital, fillable version of the hospital's form. Once this is complete, including supporting evidence (which we will help you get), Goodbill will review the application and send it to the hospital on your behalf. Goodbill will then call the hospital every few days, until a determination has been made.
